FOUNDER
Bryan F. Grane is the Founder of East Orchard Capital (EOC). Prior to founding EOC, Bryan was the Owner, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CST. Under Mr. Grane’s leadership, CST became one of the premier intermodal logistics companies in the United States, and was ultimately sold to Forward Air Corporation. In 2017, Mr. Grane was promoted to Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions for Forward Air, leading the growth strategy for this multi-billion dollar publicly traded company. Prior to joining CST, Mr. Grane was an investment banker at William Blair & Company, where he worked as a Mergers and Acquisition analyst, and achieved Series 7 and 63 certifications.
Mr. Grane has either directly invested, advised, or lead over 25 separate M&A transactions across a variety of industries including:

- Technology
- Financial Service
- Food & Beverage
- Retail and Real Estate
In addition, Mr. Grane is the Founder and Director of the St. Rita Mercy Foundation (www.stritamercyfoundation.org) and a Board Member at Leadership Roundtable (Organization promoting best business practices in the Catholic Church in the U.S.).
Bryan earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (International Honors Society). Mr. Grane also holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School, Northwestern University.
Associate
Luke J. Sherman is an Associate at East Orchard Capital. He has been working remotely for the past two years overseeing the mergers and acquisitions of multiple companies. Prior to joining EOC, Luke worked as a marketing manager for a windows and roofing company where he performed as the top grossing marketer.
Distinguished Military Service
He has served five years in the United States Marine Corps Infantry with two deployments overseas. While abroad, Luke received The Navy & Marine Corps Achievement medal for his military leadership. During his time of service in the USMC, Luke also studied business finance at Hawaii Pacific University.
